A Google study is now saying that 30 second ad spots embedded into Youtube videos are as effective as 30 secondĀ ad spots on television. This is surprising considering that users have the ability to disable them, or turn away to another page at will.

In another attempt to bring the internet to television TiVo has announced that its customers will soon be able to view YouTube videos on their televisions. It remains for us to see how this will play out, but this feature has been available on Apple TV since last year.
